Summer Camp '09
Mt. Zion Baptist Camp... What a place! It was my 14th year to attend this camp and what a year they had as they celebrated the camps 20th anniversary. Our girls were blessed to get a cabin with a bathroom and outlets. I can not even begin to describe how excited we were over this!
We had a a great week that included a lot of powerful preaching, crazy sports, fellowship and fun, and many wonderful memories made!
Oh... and yes... I did get injured : ( on the first day actually lol! I managed to hyper extend my elbow but thankfully it is much better now : )
We also got to try a new sport called Zorbing. If you have never heard of it then you ought to look it up. It's incredible and just a tiny bit scary : )
Back Yard Bible Clubs '09
We had a great week at our BYBC this year! Kyle, Kristi, and I headed up our club again this year. It is amazing to think that we have had this club for the past four years... time flies by! It was wonderful to see the children so excited and hungry to learn more about God. I am already looking forward to next years club.

Graffiti Scavenger Hunt
We had a great activity this past Friday night! It was Graffiti night in our town which brings in many tourists. Our population doubles during that week and hundreds of people gather in downtown Roseburg to watch the parade of old cars and get their fill of fried bread and cotton candy. The singles activity for that night was a crazy scavenger hunt in the middle of downtown during the parade. We had so much fun and made many hilarious and unforgettable memories! I got a band to play and sing Amazing Grace, Josh gave someone CPR, Tomasa asked a guy she had never met for his phone number without telling him that it was for the scavenger hunt, and these are just a few of the crazy things we did : )

Vacation '09
I just got back from a great vacation with my family at Prineville reservoir. We had a blast fishing, hiking, playing badminton, soaking up sun, and just being together. We stayed in a log cabin where we had a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. I think my favorite memory from it was our last night. A thunder and lightning storm blew in along with huge gusts of wind, which makes it difficult when you are trying to keep a grill lit. We had a fish fry and then all sat on the front porch watching the lightning and singing together. We had a wonderful time and made many new memories!

Summer Beginnings
Summer break is finally here! I am back at home in Winston, Oregon. Before I left for home, the college had a big picnic. I had a blast hanging out with my friends and soaking up some sun. You can tell it is the beginning of summer by looking at my face.... thanks to the sunburn I received shortly after the picnic.
